Dragon’s Delight – Intro to Chinese Mythology and Folk Tales

NEW CLASS! Enrollment is now open for Fall, 2008.

Explore exciting, vibrant tales of dragons, tigers, spirits, monks, warriors and wisdom in this engaging introduction to Chinese mythology. We will cover mythological creatures like the Phoenix, Foo Dogs, Pi Yao, and Chi Lin, as well as famous heroes, legends, immortals, gods and goddesses and other fascinating folk. Students will also learn how many of these stories echo across different cultures.

Fall Semester, 2008: Saturday, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM; 3 sessions starting October 25, 2008, ending November 8, 2008.
