This fun, hands-on arts course is aimed at those who love art, but who have always been afraid to dive in and explore. If you’ve always wanted to set your inner artist free, find out if you really have an artistic “self,” of if you just like to explore new things–this is the place for you.

Students will be able to try out several different artistic mediums in a low-stress, easy-going environment. Experimentation and free expression are encouraged.

Learn the basics of handling pencils, oil pastels, various paints, and papers without worrying about grading and critiques. This is a chance to let your mind and hands go wild, with other almost-artists!

The workshop will include several exercises designed to get ideas flowing and to banish fear of not being perfect.

Supplies provided. Students may also bring additional materials, if desired.
